I admit it. I admit it. I started a prayer life because I needed a friend. I was ten years old. I was very lonely although I lived in a house full of people. In my search, I found God. Yet still…I never thought that I would end up being a praying person. I just sort of stumbled into it after a very unusual set of circumstances.
My next step was to begin to pray for myself and my family. God immediately began to smile on my family in a big way. He was making room for me to branch out into new territories! I began to pray for others, but I want to say this: every Prayer Intercessor must understand; being able to say a correct or eloquent prayer for someone else is not enough. In fact, it could be quite easy to get off track. It would be very easy to get dull. In order to have your prayers become a force…one must stay hooked up to God, For you see,,,He is the force behind our prayers! Our staying charged up in our faith…is instrumental! It is the key. Take it and unlock the door!
Matthew 16: 19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Prayer is not monologue, but dialogue. Gods voice in response to mine is its most essential part. ~ Andrew Murray
If you are going to fight warfare, you have to use something stronger…The Bible Is Stronger! Do not go into battle defenseless!
Ephesians 6:10-17 “ Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power. Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice, And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace: In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).”

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…
Corinthians 12:9 (#10 of 18 Bible Verses about Grace)
9But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
THERE WILL BE NO SATANIC OPPRESSION THAT WILL HINDER YOUR THANKSGIVING OR PRAISE!
It’s Thanksgiving, but the truth of the matter is that a lot of people that I know may not feel thankful. You see…the enemy has tried to steal their hope. I see it all the time. And I keep thinking: “Wait a minute people!” “This is what they have been waring us about.!” You see, for those who are believers who go to church or follow the Word of The Lord…we are trained to know that: “the day of adversity”…will come. As sure as there is going to be a Monday every week…the “enemy of the brethern” is going to bring it.
The question not only is “WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO?”….but it is also: “CAN GOD BE TRUSTED?” Of course He ca be trusted. Just think back to your last difficulty. God can be trusted and you are going to have to prove that you believe it by giving Thanks! It’s an act of freedom. It’s an act of thanks.
If you are unable to grasp this…then right now I pray for your breakthrough. I bind every lying spirit that is telling you that the Word Of God is of no effect! I cancel every scheming strategy of the enemy against you. I release the power of God into your situation…right now by simply using THE NAME OF JESUS! AMEN
My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. (Exodus 33:14)
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. (Deuteronomy 31:8)
The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. (Deuteronomy 33:27)
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:9-10)
I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:8)
I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. 1 Corinthians 14: 15
Most people do not want to have a prayer life. I was like that. I did not think it was necessary until I had a major emergency. I asked a friend to pray and nothing happened. So, I called them and asked them if they had remembered to pray and they admitted they did not. I am so thankful that happened and I am not being funny. From that day forward I prayed for myself and mostly for others. Because of that incident…I came close to God. Prayer is easy because I am a good advocate. The Holy Spirit is better for a fact.
I wouldn’t trade my spiritual life for anything. I am not alone! When I go to church it’s crowded! My spiritual life is the foundation of all phases and aspects of my life. One of the most amazing things that I have seen is that there are so many profound answers to prayer. Many times miracles unfold. Often they are spoken of, often they are not.
There is only One that can answer prayers and that is God. I will not give Him a name…He’s God; the only One and I say that with BOLDNESS and no remorse, no compromise, no reservations and no care for a “lack of knowledge” on anyone’s part.
The Bible implores us to pray without ceasing. There are over 500 references in the bible to a form of the word pray.
It is our charge. Much of our challenges; most especially emergencies often involve a lack of prayer. Having a prayer life will increase your confidence and your faith as well as give you the answers, guidance and course to follow. Try it; you’ll like it.
We’ve all been assigned to pray. It is simply talking to God and listening for an answer. Lives have been saved, wars have been won, miracles have been released and impossibles have disintegrated…through prayer!
