God’s Got It! by E. Davenport Monday, September 1, 2008

August 25, 2008

I went to a play not long ago.  It was great.  There must have been at least twenty set changes.  When the lights would go down you could see crews of people moving around moving props and furniture.  I’m sure also lots of people were changing clothes, fixing hair and make up and moving about getting instructions.  There was so much going on and the audience did not have a clue as to all of the work involved yet we enjoyed the finished product; the play.

Well, imagine the spirit realm; much of the same goes on when you send up a prayer request. It’s even more complicated because Satan may try to fight them and God sometimes will speak to aerson’s heart and they may decide to ignore it for a while or totally…so a lot goes on but once your prayer goes up…God watches over His Word to perform it!  You better know it.

You may find yourself under attack, and it may be the kind that looks like there is no way out.  There is an answer…pray. Yes, you can pray yourself out. Don’t bite your nails or grind your teeth.  Don’t get depressed, sleep unendlessly or give up in any way.  From the minute that you make your request known to God, He is moving behind the scenes to fix things. If it didn’t happen overnight; it may not get fixed overnight; but it will get fixed.  The bondage will be broken.  You are the redeemed and you need to say so!

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  Phillipians 4: 6  (KJV)

Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.                                                                Amplified
