Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory Of The Coming Of The Lord by Dionne Warwick (Rare Music Video)

December 29, 2007

The reason that I say this is rare is that for whatever reason I’ve been hard pressed to find the wonderful Dionne Warwick singing these types of songs. Others too…but I really wanted something from Ms. Warwick. She sang this in 1986 at the Tribute To Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

I appreciate your prayers and well wishes! We need each other in this world, and the Father has added the Internet as an additional means of connecting with others who share our love of the Father, our love of justice and who value such things as equal protection under the law. Thank you for having such beautiful music available on the Internet. I hope that many people find their way to this site through my using Dionne’s song.

Why oh why is this hymn not sung more frequently to the Walford Davies tune Vision? A much better tune, I think, esp. in church surroundings.
