Satanic Attacks in Dreams by Elaine Davenport (Monday, October 22, 2007)

Please don’t think it’s strange when you the most awful or ridiculous dream while you’re sleeping. Remember who you are in Christ and that you have control!
(1 Pet 4:12 KJV) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
Last night I had the most awful dream I had ever had. Everything that was important to me was threatened and it was as though I found myself on a slippery slope. In the dream; I did not even remember that I was a believer; and as a result I had no defense. It was a dream in which I could not figure out a way to fix it. At one frustrating point; I thought “perhaps, if I just act like people in the world and go off; I can turn this around!” Somehow I knew not to do this! Thank the Lord!
What to do when backed in a corner in a dream…
The sub conscious mind is really something. Some of us are so desperate for sleep that we’ll accept it at any quality. I won’t do that, I’ve learned the hard way. It’s not acceptable. One of the mighty prayer warriors that I know, Sister Olivia told me that she pleads the blood of Jesus around her bed at night so that she can sleep peacefully. I’ll start doing that.
What to do? Wake up if you’re unable to take control in the dream. I woke up and came to my senses immediately. THe Holy Spirit began to minister to me telling me what to do.
I got back in the bed and spoke to everyone and everything that had come up against me. In that dream, I cleaned house. I explained that in and on the authority of Jesus, I was casting everyone out! I spoke to principalities and bound them. I bound Spirits of confusion and loosed Godly peace! I cast out demons giving them the Word of God!
THEN VICTORY CAME!
It was counterfeit! It looked real, but it was counterfeit! How do I know? After I had my say; it all ceased! Everything froze. I went from being a helpless victim, to the director! Not by my night…Oh No!
Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4: 7
God says that we have the ability to pull down strongholds. The enemy had visited me with horrible dream, destroying my peace over the years, it was a stronghold…no more! Praise God!
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 2 Corinthians 10: 4

    Thanks for your post. I have had several dreams of Satanic attack and cannot figure out why. I do the same thing in my dreams. I plead the blood of Yeshua (Jesus) and then they are gone. In one dream, I was at church and being thrown up against the walls like a ping pong ball. I’m not sure what that battle is but I rest in the Messiah completely. I will pray for you for peaceful dreams. God Bless.

    Bless The Lord. Shannon thanks for writing. You are on point. A long time prayer warrior at a recent prayer meeting told a few of us; that she pleads the Blood every night before she gets in the bed by walking around the bed once; I started doing that. It’s become routine. The dreams stopped. I now get restful and peaceful sleep. God is Good! Amen?

    My dreams are different. I’ve had 3 dreams that I can directly remember, but I’ve had more I know. But I’m not a victim. The first dream I was playing with a little girl baking in an easy bake oven, then her mom came in and told me to get out. I got out and while I was walking out I knew I had to go back. When I went back I went into this room and had a flash light and a bible in my hands, and casted out demons all night long. The next dream I can’t remember the full story, but I cast out demons continuously in that dream. I think I was in my bedroom in that dream. The third dream was last night, some crazy demon just showed up at my door, and I started casting him out. I repeated “I cast you out in Jesus’ name over and over. It took forever for him to go away.

    I think that as Christians, we should have a victor rather than a victim mentality. When I have bad dreams, I tell myself it’s what the devil wnats, not what God wants and then i negate the evil dream by the blood of Jesus and start to pray God’s declarations upon my life. I know people who take every dream as what is going to happen to them and do not bother to check if the dream is in line with God or it’s just a lie of the devil. We need to be aware of the lies of the devil and pray.

    Hi Bukola! Thanks for your comment. You know faith comes by hearing and hearing. If we can just remind ourselves and each other that we are the “victors”; I believe that it will carry over for anyone struggling with those issues. That’s why I embrace positive encouragement and why reading the Word of God in relation to Who we are in Christ can strengthen ever believer. Good point; well taken.

    This dream last night was tuely bizarre. I was with my16 month old son. A man and woman at a gathering approached us. I felt chills when I met them, both dark haired and attractive, yet menacing. They wanted us to join a small group at a party. When we were in the room, the man put a mask/hood over his head with horns and then there were several others that played some king of strange musical instruments and sang a foreign tongue that was worshiping satan. There were black dogs. My son was wandering and was playing in the dog dishes of water when the water turned into acid and hurt him and I woke up screaming. Was this a dream or an attack?

    Sister Louisa, I do not know. I don’t have enough information or prayer to make an honest answer. If it happened to me, I would plead the Blood of Jesus around my bed when I got in it as I always do. As a result, I have restful sleep now. Don’t be afraid. Are you saved? How close are you to God in “your honest opinion?
    You don’t have to answer here, but ask yourself. I will lift you and your situation up in prayer.

    I have had several dreams where I know that I have been under demonic attack and the situation always seems to be one where I know what is happening but feel compailed to take action. The one that I had last night has been the most intense and I could not wake up by calling the name of Jesus alone but when I repeated “Jesus the son of the most High God” the demons fled and I woke up. I then began to pray and read scriptures. One on these dreams usually seem to follow some type of breakthough in my life.

    Hi Billie! It seems pretty clear that Satan is attacking us in dreams. Good to hear that you are fortified. Since I’ve been pleading the Blood of Jesus over and around and in the bed before I sleep, I’ve been sleeping quite peacefully. Oh, if I had only known this 20 years ago!     Just after my mother died, I dreamed I was going round an old church with a pastor. When we came to the oldest part of the church, he said, look I cast out the evil. At that point I fell on the ground and couldn’t get up. I felt such awful awful desolation. I fought to wake up and said the Lord’s prayer over and over until the awful feeling of desolation left. I was still so afraid that I had to wake my husband up.

    Just before she died, I dreamed there was a man standing by the bed smoking a cigarette. The next day my son was jumping on the bed. He told me that the pillow smelled of cigarette smoke and when I smelt it, it really did. No in our house smokes.

    Do you know what this was about?

    Blessings Jean! We’re sorry that we don’t interpret dreams. However, we can tell you that we as believers always plead the Blood of Jesus over our loved ones especially those that are being challenged in their health. We even plead the blood over our beds at night.

    Sorry…we don’t know what the smoke was about. Prayer always brings revelation of the “important” things…Love Cafe Sozo

    It is very good and encouraging to find out that I am not the only one who has had demonic dreams. I am always dreaming that I am casting out demons from people or that I see specific people who need deliverance. To later find out that the Lord is preparing me for something GREAT! I ask the Lord to show me dreams that are of him and then my dreams begin to line up with scripture and to only see the dreams come to pass, but I always intercede after I have the dreams. I used to tell people immediately but I stopped doing that and I just pray and wait on the Lord. Sometimes the dreams are meant for a certain individual who is going to go through a trial, and I begin to intercede for them. God Bless You

    Thanks for posting this, the last 2 days I have had intense dreams that made me think they were something more. In the first one I was outside of my body and aware of myself lying on the bed across the room. I sensed something was wrong and tried to wake myself up, for I have been a lucid dreamer for many years. I had some kind of sleep paralysis and could not move or open my eyes. At the same time I was pinned against the wall and forced to watch myself being possessed by something (evil), of course I did not want to see this and so I prayed, to God and to Jesus, and very quickly I was released and awake and it was over with. The second one was not as bad but I am not remembering much of it. I will try the techniques listed before bed, I honestly haven’t wanted to sleep since the possession dream. I am thankful I am capable of prayer while dreaming, but it was no less horrifying while it lasted.

      iv had the same sorta stuff happening but mines always hangin off the bed just my head or gettin dragged owt its only realy happenend 4 tyms , n mostely happens wen im in my parents house who are cristian n was my mum who told me abowt it ,so thats why i have bin looking up too se if it cud be sumfing else but they feel real n like im b in possested !? my mum n dad asked me too ask the lord too cum into my hart ?? and are these satanic attacks why am i getting them ?

    Last night, i felt the bed vibrate and then turn to violent shake, wasnt sure if this was in a dream state or not but i knew I could not move. i began to say the Lords Prayer and was interupted by this “woman” that sat on me. I tried to turn and finish my prayer but she kept trying to subdue me.

    I remember vividly later holding her by the throat and saying, “I am the son of my father Yahweh and you cannot harm me”. I clearly remember the shocked look on her face and then she bit me, from which I immediately woke up.

    I cant remember the last time I have prayed, I must admit, I have not been the ideal Christian, but this has definately changed me.

    There are a few things that dont sit well with me, one is that I have never spoken those words in a dream or awake state so I dont know what that means. Second, for about a week, I have been having this …inclination… to read the Bible before I go to bed and last night I remember asking the Holy Spirit to help me and give me strength before going to bed. Finally, I was having a shower today and noticed a 1/4 inch mark on my right hand, just in between my thumb and my index finger, the same hand that was bit in my dream. I couldnt remember how I got it but trusted in the Lord that I am safe and He is protecting me. I am just very confused about all of this but my Faith seems strong. Has this ever happened to others? What should I do, and advice will be appreciated. God Bless.

      I see that you posted this dream over a year ago, and i just came across it today. I have to tell you, I too had a few dreams that resemble yours. At the time of my dreams i was not living the life of a Christian, although i was brought up in a Christian family.
      Nevertheless, in my first dream it was like i was awake, but unable to move as well. I felt something or someone coming up from the bottom of the bed i was in, under the sheets. He was laughing at me and i could sense that he wanted to be intimate. He was very dark, like a dark shadow, and i knew it had to do with satan. I remember trying to move, but he was to powerful and continued to lay over me. I also remember reaching out to God and I began to tell this thing that I was Gods child, and that I could not be harmed. My other dream happened within a month or two after the first. This dream again was like i was awake, yet unable to move. I Could hear thunder and i could see lightning. I could hear the pots and pans banging together downstairs in the kitchen, i was living with my mom at the time. I saw a lady in a white gown, she was far away, but kept getting closer and closer. Soon she was by my bedside and she was beautiful, she held my arm and at first she was talking nicely to me. She asked me to come with her, and for whatever reason, i said no. Her grip on my arm got tighter, and i could feel her long nails digging into my arm. She started to get angry because i was pulling away and telling her to leave. Her face began to turn very ugly and her voice was deep and demanding. She said that God did not love me and that sooner or later i would turn to satan. I tried to pull away again and her nails hurt, I shooted that even in my dream state that i would never turn from God and that I was spoken for by Him that created me. I woke up and tried to get up out of bed, for about 10 minutes i couldnt move. Finall i could move and i ran into my moms room to wake her up. While we were talking, i realized that it was a beautiful night, no storms at all, and than i looked down at my arm because it hurt. It was red and it was where this thing was holding me in my dream. It was the scariest thing that i have ever experienced. But i have to tell you that God does protect us. Today, I have that relationship with Jesus, and I remember back to that dream and I dont fear it anymore. I dont know if satan can come into your dreams, but if he can, i know that we have the powere to defeat him, either awake or asleep.         Hi Christy! That is powerful. Yiu know, I’ve been listening to some messages from Apostle David Taylor and he really seems to know about this subject. He said in our dreams, sometimes God is trying to show us something. He also pointed out just how many demons there are. Oh my! Jon Eckhardt has a book called Demon Hit List which is excellent. I do not know the interpretation…but it is a call to prayer…whether you are still having the dreams or not. Will you heed the call? Bless you for writing!

        I will absolutly pray with you …i have to tell you, sometime ago i was told that I was a prayer warrior. I cant remember who told me that, but i love to pray. I am very private in my prayer time, and i become very emotional. I think that is why i make it so private. I dont know if that is good or not, but i can tell you that when i do go into my prayer time i cant stop crying. I feel so close to God, and its like i am a totaly different person. LOL…anyway, i have never prayed via the internet, so forgive me if i dont catch on right away.

In the meantime we’re asking you to continue to get before God. Satan is a defeated foe. He cannot defeat you. I am trying to write a book and the chapter i am on involves the stories i posted here today. It was by fate that i found this website, and i am glad i did.     satan does attack in dreams. He visited in my dream and made me believe he was taking me into a flower nursery and he knew i loved flowers and he showed me a blue flower which is also my favourite and as i went over to the blue flower he pushed me down into a water dam and started drowning me. When i woke up i was realy drowning, i could breath and i was already half way dead. I past out on the floor and only the next morning when i woke up i realized he was tricking me in a dream and God saved me from death.

      Hello Matilda, get some scriptures on strength and courage and read them one hour before you go to bed in the place where you sleep. After that plead the Blood of Jesus over yourself and the bed. Continue to do this until it stops. The devil can’t stand up to faith or the word; but you need to know it in your heart. When you do; he cannot come against you and win. It’s impossible. He might try…but he can’t win.

      As far as your dream is concerned; the devil knows your weaknesses for he has studied you intensely…but he can’t come against the Blood.

    Dearest Matilda, you are so right. Since I began to write bout this; I have learned so much. We must engage the enemy and not be afraid. We do this through the power of the Holy Spirit (we have no might on our own) and the authority of the name of Jesus.

    Demons recognize power and authority. They just hope you don’t know. So even in your sleep; you must have this registered in your heart so that your spirit can defend you.

    I don’t know whats going on but my dreams are freaky, sometimes good and sometimes bad.

    Last night I had a dream that I was talking to Satan and he was trying to get me to follow him but I was like “heck no!” and he started to blame everything on God and that it is his fault. And then I was like “well maybe you shouldn’t have been so prideful and try to take what is God’s. All I know is that God and I won that debate.

    But I’ve had other ones just like that, I was in a floating castle and me and almost the same thing happened. Satan was trying to get me to work for him and I said no, I am for God. I know I am a sinner but Christ died for me and that is who I live for.

    And another time on a mission trip. I had a dream that I was working for the devil and I woke up yelling because I couldn’t handle it.

    I used to have dreams that there would be some demon trying to scare me somewhere in my dream. And I would actually charge at it, and get so mad in my dream at it that I would start shaking and then literally wake up from that shaking.

    But now, it just seems like I’m having a lot of dreams about choosing Christ over Satan. I keep having this feeling that I need to tell more people about Christ because he is coming back very soon. Maybe the devil knows I want to tell people so he’s attacking me in my dreams? I don’t know.

    Syd, I can relate to you. About 3 times so far there has been instances where I am half asleep and I try to wake up but I can’t. Like something is doing something to my body to throw it back into sleep. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t talk. But I finally blurted out ” in the name of Jesus, Satan leave” and I had control of my body again, meaning i wasn’t paralyzed. I know I have the holy spirit in me so I know I am not possessed but it does say in the Bible that Satan shoots “arrows” in our mind, to tempt us or to scare us. I think these kind of dreams are just to scare us. We have Jesus therefore we can change lives. Satan hates this Idea and wants to stop it in any way he can and the first thing I think is to scare them. I noticed a huge difference when I read my bible before I go to bed and make sure I’m right with God. Without him, we are nothing.

    Wow…..It is really amazing to see that this topic is very common! I’ve had many dreams where demons tried to possess my body, they would just look at me and it would paralyze my body and I would be filled with fright and couldn’t move. But I would say,”I rebuke you in the name of JESUS!” And I would wake up…But more on down the road the dreams started getting worse. The demon would paralyze my body so strongly that I couldn’t even move my mouth to speak JESUS. But I would just think the name in my head and BOOM! I would be released and wake up! There is so much power in the name of JESUS and as followers of GOD we have authority to bind up them demons and cast them away in the name that causes all demons to tremble “JESUS”!! Hallelujah, praise GOD! Everytime I speak the name JESUS in those horifying nightmares I wake up! Sometimes in dreams instead of waking up I would defeat them because my GOD is a mighty GOD and he will put the devil under are feet and release us. So if you are having these problems, brothers and sisters, call upon his name even in those dreams! Don’t let the devil deceive you or even intimidate you because he already lost and besides,”The Lord hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) And just like the book of matthew says, whatsover the saints of GOD bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsover we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. So be not afraid but instead bind that evil up in JESUS name and cast them away. GOD bless you all.

      Thank you soldier 4 Jesus. I first started having these dreams after I returned from a mission trip when I was a teenager. I am in my thirties now. I only have maybe a few a year. But they are the same as yours. I try to say the name of Jesus and am paralyzed. It is so frustrating in my dreams. The demons taunt me and it is as if my throat is strangled when I try to sing or say praises to Jesus. Eventually, I am able to cry out my savior’s name and they disperse.
      I am so glad I decided to look this up and have found I am not alone. We must be a real threat if Satan feels the need to attack us in our sleep. Let’s keep praying, worshiping, and praising our God and Savior!
      I really feel His return may be soon and we need to spread the Gospel to as many as possible. Keep up the good fight!

    It seems these type of dreams are quite common. I used to be in league with the devil and at one time held my alliegance to Satan. Now I am a born again Christian. Just last night however I had a dream that really scared me. When I was into Satanism these dreams didn’t bother me, but now that I am a born again Christian they do.

    I had dreampt last night that there was a man a decent looking man standing outside my bedroom window looking in. In my dream I knew right away it was satan and I started yelling for my brother and sister to come into to my room before he disappeared.

    I wanted them to see him. When they did come into the room I was pointing at the man standing outside my window looking in and telling them thats satan, thats Satan. Then I woke up. I was scared but I started praying to God and pleaded the blood of Jesus to cover me and my bedroom and house.

    Then I prayed to God to let me go back to sleep but have a peaceful dream this time and the Lord answered my prayer. I went back to sleep and slept good after that.

    I recently have grown in the church taking on more responsibilities, but had a dream the other night that really shocked me, i was in an old house looking or maybe even touring it and this candle holder floated down the hall and pinned me to the wall and this figure or voice or both was trying to get to to say satan was lord, but i know that Jesus Christ is lord and i would not submit, but finally professing christ as lord it ended, then still in my sleep professed christ the rest of my nigh sleep and telling satan to get behind me, I had an awesome peace. But i think this was satan way of testing me and my christian faith. Thank you god for your grace and mercy !!!!

    That’s the dream I always have. It’s been pretty common for me the last few years. I didn’t realize the gravity of the situation until my good friend went to North Africa on a missions trip for a year and she reported having the same dream — when her housemates would regularly have night-terrors of demonic visitation. When I found out that my dreams were on par with that level of spiritual attack, i was shocked. A few weeks ago I had one of these dreams but this time I COULDN’T invoke the name of Christ. I didn’t have the strength and my friends (who were in the car with me in my dream) were too distracted to do it for me. Last night I had another one that I was successful in invoking Christ’s name.

    I’m kind of curious as to what is the significance of these dreams. Is it simply spiritual attack, or is it a warning of greater spiritual attack in waking life? In the past I have had dreams that have come to pass later on… often they are negative, warning dreams.

    hopefully someone has some answers!

    Hi Jess! Thanks for stopping by. If you just look at the total number of comments; it’s an indicator that something (very deliberate) is going on when we go to sleep.

    Over the years, I’ve had all kind of “crazy” stuff going on in my sleep. Most of it was oppressive. It was late in the game that I learned to plead The Blood of Jesus “before” I got in the bed. Learned it from a more seasoned friend of mine Sister Olivia.

    So, I say: I plead the Blood of Jesus over me, my husband, my children and I name them. I plead the Blood of our home, our doors, our windows, our beds. As I step into the bed I say I plead the Blood of Jesus over my pillows, my mattresses, my mind, will and emotions then I close my eyes!

    If I see something I don’t like when I first close my eyes, I open my eyes and say: The Blood of Jesus permeates my body them I enjoy sweet sleep. I’ve had the same thing that you describe only I was a kid.

    I know it was a demon but don’t know why. I do know the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy.

    There are no coincidences and we’re all made to sleep sweetly. Some of us may choose not to. Nothing is beyond the Authority Of The believer and don’t forget it Jess.

    Hey, i have been saved for about 6-7 months now. i have been fighting satan. i really want to win.
    lastnight i dreamed that one of my pregnent friends was needing a place to stay and i let her. then i went to bed. as i was putting on my bed clothes i dreamed that satan came out of the sky and grabbed me around my neck and was choking me. he held me so strong that i couldn’t get the words jesus out. i managed too. he let me go. i don’t know what they mean and i would love to fig. it out. do any one have any advice. i got a preacher to go into my bedroom and pray over the house and everything. Thank God i have a wonderful pastor. i have been fighting him tho. If it wasn’t for God nothing would be possible..
    anyone have any advice for me? thank you and thanx for posting this one here. very helpful

    First off, I’m glad to know that there are other people out there that go through the things I go through. Just the other night I was asleep but I had a dream that felt so incredibly real. It’s hard to believe you are dreaming when everything around you is exactly the way it was when you fell asleep. In my dream my girlfriend opened the bedroom door and she said something to me kind of in a whisper. Then I realized it was not really her. All of a sudden I couldn’t speak or move. I was trying to yell for help because I was afraid of being physically attacked and I struggled to move but I was as slow as molasses. It was right then that I came out of my sleep, I would have been more terrified but I’ve been through demonic attacks before so it wasn’t anything totally out of the normal for me. I asked my girlfriend the next morning if she ever came in my room, of course she said no…..

    One thing I want people to know though is that you can also recieve messages from God in your sleep, I had a dream where I saw Jesus. It was a crazy dream. He didn’t talk to me, he couldn’t really. There was a point though that he looked straight into my eyes and I could just tell somehow that he knew exactly who I was and everything about me. I believe I got the message from that dream.

        What a day! It started with prayer at 4am. The day never slowed down. We make it a point to take every prayer request to Corporate Prayer everyday Monday through Friday. Well, it is fortunate that Cafe Sozo has 7 sites but it keeps us busy. So, we are just now seeing your request and we will take your request before the throne of God. We agree with you in prayer that God will meet all of your prayer needs and will pray over your specific request with 50 or more people. We would never ignore such a serious request, but we do indeed have a backlog. Thanks for your patience and we encourage you to stand in faith.

    The other night, right as I was falling sleep I had a dream of attack. I was aware of myself lying in bed in my room. Only my room was not quite the same. The furniture was rearranged slightly. The lighting seem to be that of candles…sort of a dark glow. In the air, I could hear music. It was sort of old fashioned music someone might play on an upright piano in a western or something. Only, it was being played on the toy piano I actually have in my room in real life. And then I became aware that someone was gagging or strangling me, or sitting on my chest so that I had no air in my lungs to be able to speak. I knew it was satan and as I became more aware of my muteness I tried to scream. I could not. This is when panic set in and I tried to wake up. I was not only mute, but paralyzed. I could not speak to cast him out. Finally I guess I was able to make a groan in the physical because my mom heard and came in to check on me. This is not my first nightmare, so she was quick to the rescue. Thank goodness. She prayed over me and cast satan out. Thinking back, I’ve had these reoccuring dreams of being mute. thinking about it later I felt I got some understanding. I believe God showed me my gifting is writing. And if that is so then Satan would attempt to rob me of that so that God would not be glorified and others would be not be set free. It made perfect sense to me.
    And just to add another tip, I used to pray this before bed:
    “I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8

    I can not say much here, but you must conquer your fear in the dream. And know that you are in control. You may be scared and feel out of control. But it’s your dream. You can do anything. I have been attacked in dreams by living people because of jealousy and hatred. The lord helps you but you must find it in your self. He wants us to learn so that we can become strong. That is the gift he gives us. There will be a day when all you see in your dreams will come true. will you run, or stand and fight?

    I plan on holding my ground. Doubt and fear are the only advantages the darkness has. When it comes just be strong and don’t give in. Live because others can not. And be thankful. And when it’s all over don’t worry your not alone

    i would like to know someones perspective about my dream or interpretation.

    It was a verry deep dream, i dreamed that i was slepping and i could see my bf next to me just the way that he is sleepig, and i saw a young man that i know has dies a couple of years ago, he came on the bed to me, and i couldn’t move or talk, and i knew it was satan and not this guy, and i only could say something when he let me, and he said to me, give me your soul, and i answered no, my soul belongs to God and he was mad and press me hard and said again give me your soul, and i answered no, my soul belongs to God, and in the mean while i was praying in my self and calling on hte blood of jesus and just calling on god, and suddenly i could talk, and i felt the precemce of the lord filiing from the entrance from my house til my room and closer it got the more strenght i got, and i had the power to talk and i said, oh you better be ready cause god is here, and he dissapeared and i woke up shaking

    amazing ha? i don’t belive this was just a dream.

      You may not like my answer…but you asked. Satan looks for a way in. Sin…is his free pass. I don’t know you…but if your boyfriend was in the bed with you…that “may” well have been an open door. Examine yourself to see if you’re in right standing. Pray about it. You might consider shutting that door and pleading the Blood of Jesus. Something to think about…it’s your choice.

    I believe your dream was a spiritual connection to your beliefs and emotions. I would suggest searching out your fears, and/or the connection between this young man you saw and your bf. There’s always a message in every dream, especially if you remember it. Always keep your mind open to the wisdom you can receive, and remember that everything interconnects. I have been struggling since a child with seeing demonic appearances either awake or not. When I have dreams of demonic possessions, the only way to rid yourself of these is to let go of your fear and fight them with the name of Jesus Christ. You may not think it, but yo may be possessed yourself. I have exorcised myself many times in dreams successfully, and after doing so I feel no fear and complete peace in all aspects. I’ll wake up feeling relief, as if I have a new mind and body. Sin or not, God will protect you if you repent and after so long you will have almost no desire to sin, though we are human and we have souls, therefore it is within your nature. No matter the sin, all sins are equal and God has never-ending mercy along with understanding. He is not simply going to deny us the kingdom of heaven because we are with sin, it’s our heart that matters. Remember, “He that is without sin cast the first stone.” May God Bless You With Peace, you are not alone, and no matter what, you are the only one that has control over your soul.

    Posted this on another forum, going to copy / paste here now. Just had this,

    In my dream, I was actually sleeping, and then something to the side of my bed, as if it was some kind of an alarming clock, went on – in a very weird manner and I instantly knew it was demonic activity .. in the dream, I woke up and started pushing my bed back and forth out of nowhere .. very demonic type of stuff .. I was doing this while feeling as if my arms were totally tied you know .. (in the dream) my bed went back and forward for a couple seconds and I was aware of what was going on – just wanted to call out for Jesus, but couldn’t.

    The arms felt tied and the mouth felt shut .. seconds before the dream ends, I manage to cry out for Jesus – instantly felt free (arms and mouth), and there I am in the corner of the room watching the shadowy demonic entity running out of the window (still in the dream).

    That’s when I suddenly woke up, and felt absolute peace, even thou it felt really, really weird. Was laying down for a bit just thinking “waw, that was something alright”.

    Prayed, and here I am posting (and google searching to see if this has happened to other people).

    The whole dream seemed like it lasted for about 20 seconds. I always have a good sleep – this just happened and I thought it was weird since, before going to bed, I actually asked for a dream about the rapture, tribulation or something related with Jesus.

    First two logical things I got out of this was, either being attacked or got the prayer answered and Jesus gave me this dream to let me know of His power, but who knows right … wasn’t really expecting this lol.

    All in all, It does feel good now (20 or 30 mins after waking up). God bless you all & your loved ones ! Jesus is power !

      hey deaken , I saw jesus in my dreams too , and I saw the heaven too , there is a city made of Gold in the heaven so beautifull this city shine like the sun , but I have been raped many times or abused sexually in the nights for a evil spirit and I had been satanic dreams too , sometimes I get confused with the things I read because I was reading in some books that you are what you dream , if you have heavenly dreams you are holly and if you have demonic dreams you are demonic , the problem is that I have been the two dreams , heavenly and satanic dreams , so what I am ? and in this books say that if you have satanic attacks you have sin in your life but in the bible say that if you have sin God doesnt answer our prayers and he showed me the heaven and see jesus because I ask it in a prayer.

    I too had a bad dream last night, where I was fighting with a girl, she was a satanist, I didnt know this and she called all of her friends to a meeting where we could discuss the problem i was having with her. I was given a black book and in the book, is where i saw the word satan. I tried to explain that it was all a misunderstanding, and did not feel threatened but a bit scared by the situation. We were in a large hall that later turned into a church. People were running around breaking things, and I was thinking this is not good, very disrespectful. They ran towards me wanting me to take their hand, I did not and told my boyfriend who was near me not to let me go. I woke up feeling so horrible. weird?? any suggestions on what this means? – Thanks

      Well, this sounds like a dream of what satan is doing as far as attacks on the church and God’s people. I only write what the Holy Spirit leads me to write. So far, you are the 3rd person I have been led to respond to in the past 2 days on this site.

      I think that the part where you witnessed people smashing and breaking things IN the church is extremely significant spiritually. This, to me, is indicitave of how satan has loosed his army into our churches to break apart the things we are trying to do for God’s Kingdom. He truly is out to steal, kill, and destroy. The fact that you didn’t go with the people in the church is good, your spirit in Christ was aware of how they were trying to coerce you into coming with them to follow satan, and resisted.

      As for his name written in the black book – I’m not sure about that one. Perhaps it was something like satan’s version of the “book of life”, but that’s just a possibility.

      Just remember, Greater is HE Who is in you, than he who is in the world. satan has NO authority over you. You are a child of the LIVING GOD ALMIGHTY. Don’t be afraid, 2 Timothy 1:7 says that He did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. If you feel afraid, read Psalm 91. I leave this open by my bed and also plead the Blood of Jesus over me and my family (and everything else you can think of that God has blessed us with). Additionally, you can ask the Lord to loose His warring and ministering angels to stand around your bed for protection. Be empowered by the Spirit of the Living God which lives inside of you, and take authority over satan and his demons in the Name of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. Remember, satan hates any reference to the Blood of Jesus, so you can also (after binding him up in Jesus’ Name), start singing “Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus” – nothing brings me more peace (and a feeling of overcoming) at times of fear than to stand up and sing that song out loud. If you don’t know it, I encourage you to youtube it.

    I had a dream last night like the dreams that have been mentioned above. I was sleeping at my friends house that I was visiting and I was on the couch by myself. In my dream I was exactly like how I was in real life, only I was watching TV in my dream. All of a sudden I just knew that it was 3am and immediately the TV turned off by itself, the christmas tree lights started blinking rapidly and then my covers were thrown off my body. I saw my phone and it was blinking on and off uncontrollably. I knew I was being attacked by a demon and I started praying but I forgot how to. I was just saying amen over and over again. Well, that wasn’t working so I started saying as fast as I could ” I plead the blood of Jesus over my body” and immediately everything stopped and I woke up. I was glad to see that my blanket was still on me in real life. Satan knows this is one of my biggest fears and I am just recently trying to get my life back on track for the Lord. I just hate that Satan knows my fears and he uses them against me, Im so glad God is bigger than him and God will always conquer.

      Well, I am not a dream interpreter…but I am a Prayer Warrior. This is what is “sounds” like. I am not a professional, but I know some spiritual things. It sounds like what I went through. The more of the Word of God that I studied and read and recited, the more it was deposited inside me, what’s inside will come out even under duress. AMEN AMEN AMEN…came out…and then you remembered the blood of Jesus because it wasa inside you. Memorize Ephesians 6: 10-18…stay in faith…the devil will move on…Blessings & Love

      Hi Krista,

      I feel it’s important to point out something about your dream. The time 3am is referred to as “the witching hour”. This was told to me by a friend of mine who was a practicing satanist, and is now a born-again Christian. He said that 3am is the time that satanists, witches, occults, etc. practice curses, hexes, sacrifices and such. They conjure up evil spirits and disperse them against us Christians. It is quite possible that a group of people were doing a seance or something near your home.

      We DO have authority over them according to Luke 10:18-20. Jesus tells His disciples

      “And He said to them, ‘I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven’.” (NKJV)

      Take this and use it against the demonic activity, in addition to pleading Christ’s Blood over yourself and your home, pets, family members (by name), car, workplace, grocery store, church, etc. Ask Him to cover every nook, cranny, crevice, space, etc. with His precious and life-saving Blood so that you will be protected wherever you go. Also, ask Him to loose His warring and ministering angels to encamp around you wherever you go, so that unseen attacks against you in the supernatural that you can’t see may be stopped.

      Just a background, I have battled fear my entire life. When I was a small child, I had night terrors. One specifically I remember, I was more awake than asleep, but paralyzed in my bed. I saw “the dark man” (this is how I referred to him as a child – I know now that it was either a demon or satan himself), and also I saw a man in white with blonde hair (an angel of the Lord), pointing at the dark man. They were communicating without words, but I knew the angel was telling the dark man to leave me alone. I was totally paralyzed in fear, but the angel protected me.

      Recently I have moved into a position in ministry at my church. I am a pre-k teacher there and also in music ministry. Over the past 8 months, I have been attacked more frequently, and more heavily. I liken satan’s “army” to a real army – privates, sergeants, etc. up the chain of command. I’m pretty sure he’s mad with me, so he’s sent out some “lieutenants”.

      I had a dream today while taking a nap in fact (which is why I googled about demonic attacks in dreams to begin with). In the dream, I was watching people I know being invaded by a demon. It was one demon, but every time the person touched someone else who did not have the demon in them, it would multiply. It made many of itself into various people. And then it came after ME. I could feel it pushing it’s way into my body, so much that I heard it’s angry snarls and the fierce rage it had for me. I started screaming at it that I was covered by the Blood of Jesus and it had NO authority over me period. I half-woke up, but it was like the enemy was trying to pull me back into sleep to continue the attack. So in my half-sleep state, I cried out “JESUS! Help me, please help me!” and I woke up fully. I laid there for a couple of minutes awake just to make sure it was gone, and then I went back to sleep again.

      Several months ago, I dreamed that a guy from my church was in my house. He is a very good-looking guy and he flirts with the girls a lot. I am a married woman and twice now I have dreamed of him, and in both dreams, he always wants to leave before my husband gets home. This particular dream, he leaned in to kiss me. I pushed him away and told him NO, I am a married woman and you can’t do that. He kissed me on the neck instead and then left. Well, I walked into my living room, and there sat my Mom (who just passed away on July 4, 2009 from cancer). I said “Mom, what are you doing here?” and she said with such authority “Emily. You are being attacked by a lust demon and a demon of confusion. You need to wake up. NOW.” And I woke up then. My Mom was a born-again Christian as well, and it’s possible that God used her manifestation in my dream because we were so close and I often listened to her advice in my life.

      I try not to put limitations on God. It can be hard because we think “well, there’s no way that…(insert whatever here) could happen”. But I stand on Mark 9:23 “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him who believes”. Don’t put a limitation on God’s power. The same power of the same God who created everything you see, is the same power that lives INSIDE OF YOU, and therefore you cannot be harmed by anything unclean. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. 🙂 I’ll see you there sister.

    i am not a church goer or a bible reader but for two nights in a row now i have had a dream of a man and he told me his name was beelzebub. in my dream he showed me a dark hole in the ground and in this hole was millions of people dead. i looked up beelzebub today and found out it is someway connected with satan. i dont know what this dream means but if someone could help me i would like that. im 21 and dont get scared often but for two nights now i have been terrified. thank you

      Hello Worried Person,

      First I pray the peace of the Living God upon your life. I know dreams like that can be terrifying, but I will try my very best to help you on this one.

      beelzebub is another name for satan (notice I do not use capital letters when talking about him, because he doesn’t deserve the respect of my using a capital letter!) This dream in itself may not have been satan visiting you, but rather God showing you where you will end up if you don’t invite Him into your life as your personal Savior. The people who are dead are representative of those who are spiritually dead to Christ, I think. It seems like God is calling you to a purpose greater than you know.

      But rest assured, His promises are true: ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3. All you have to do is ask Him.

      The gift of salvation is free my friend. I know it might sound too simple, but all you really have to do is confess with your mouth that you believe (and mean it with your heart) that Jesus Christ was the Messiah, that He was born of the virgin Mary, was crucified on the cross for your sins and the sins of the world to purchase our redemption, buried in a tomb for 3 days and resurrected on the 3rd day, and is now seated next to our Father in heaven, and simply ask Him to save you. Then you will receive salvation. When you become born-again, you are a better version of yourself. The things that once appealed to you in this world you won’t really desire anymore. Sure, you will face temptations, but you are an overcomer by the Blood of Jesus our Messiah.

      You will not suffer eternity in hell, but instead will be with Him in paradise forever and ever. Titus 1:2 “in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,”

      The Lord loves you so much more than you can ever imagine. He wants to use you but the choice is ultimately yours. You don’t need to be afraid of the dreams you had. Use them as a tool to step forward into your destiny in Christ. He will raise you up to be a mighty warrior for Him.

      John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

    My nightmare-

    I havent had it in a while, I used to have it constantly at the house i grew up in. In the dream (I think it was a dream) I was laying in bed and my room would become unbarably hot. suddenly a horroible face would appear in the dome thing that covered my celing light. I would hear this voice that was so deep it didnt even seem human. sometime after I would wake up

    the other dream

    this one came in a house that i lived in with my mom for a few months. I would walk into the hallway and a woman in white would be standing in front of my mothers door. She would be looking at me, her head freakishly cocked to the side. Then suddenly she would begin to run towards me at a superhuman speed. as she ran the hallway seemed to shrink and when she got right up to me I would wake up in my bed, my body twisted in the sheets, sweaty and shaking having a hard time breathing. I would always be afraid to fall back asleep. Often times if i did fall asleep, the dream would reapeat over and over.
    sometimes I still have very similar dreams, although I no longer live in that house. When i have them I wake up drenched in sweat, as if i had been standing in the shower, i almost feel slimey and the sheets will be so wet that i can see the sweat on them. im very shaky, my heart will be pounding and feel like I cant breathe right. When I have these dreams I cant move in them. Im completely parallelized. Sometimes in the dream i say “this isn’t real this isn’t real” as if I am aware of it, but it doesn’t really help me to stay calm in the dream OR when I wake up.

    I have always had bad dreams since I was young to the extent that I actually wished I would not dream. Funny enough there was a time when all dreams ceased. Then they started up again. I have very vivid, recurring dreams and in many of them I am running and fighting with something that I cannot see but I know it’s there.

    What I have learned from others is that dreams are a way of communication. God can communicate warnings, blessings and even comfort to you, and the devil, well he just communicates rubbish. I have no problem in praying before I sleep, it’s the battle in the dream where I lack. On so many occasions I’ve had to wake up and start praying instead of being able to deal with the circumstance in the dream.

    The other thing with me. I dream in silence. In the dream there is “mutual recognition” between the presence and myself we get stuck into each other without a word. It’s wierd because whilst I’m dreaming my brain is running a full scale commentary which I can hear but I haven’t verbalised.

    Interestingly, the dreams and attacks have intensified ever since I got involved in intercession and received a prophetic word concerning the direction of my life, to the extent that I can wake up the next morning and my whole body will be sore.

    Anyway, I know I have issues but I’m still pressing in with Christ to finish this race!

      Hi Dineo,

      Wow, I completely understand what you’re talking about.

      First and foremost, let’s look at something which is VERY significant. You were prophesied over by an anointed one of God, correct? Well, it made the devil mad! he’s going to pull out all of the stops, because guess what – now you KNOW what direction God wants to take you in, and he wants to stop it from happening, or at least put you behind in your journey. That is SO irritating isn’t it?

      Secondly, let’s tap in on what you said about the “battle in the dream you are lacking”. Ask yourself, is there anything in your current waking life that could possibly be a hinderance to God’s plan for your life, or a specific recurrent sin that could possibly be an entryway for satan? Search yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to whatever it is that may be keeping the Spirit from being able to fully defend you in dreams like that. Our sleeping selves, in my opinion, are much more open to communication from God because we don’t have distractions from the things in the world. Therefore, it would be plausible that whatever we put into ourselves in our waking lives, has a major effect on how the Holy Spirit moves in our dreams – and in your case, demonic attacks being manifested in a dream.

      Please make sure to plead Jesus’ Blood over yourself EVERY DAY, and take on the Armor of God according to Ephesians 6, which – as it is written – quenches all the fiery darts of the wicked. I truly feel that the dreams you are having are just satan trying to throw darts at you and make you afraid or unnerved. It’s a distraction. Someone said the other day, I was listening to either radio or T.V., can’t recall which – but he said “satan doesn’t show himself with the horns, tail, etc. He’s like the slickest car salesman you’ve ever met. he’s sneaky, and he waits.” he’s also the most patient person/being around. he’ll wait until you are at your most vulnerable, then he’ll kick you. and once you’re down, he’ll kick you some more, until you feel like everything is falling apart.

      BUT! Rest assured, the Spirit of the LIVING GOD is inside of you, and once you learn to wield the authority that Christ gave you, against satan and his demons…WOW it’s a powerful feeling. He also says that we aren’t to rejoice because we have this power given to us, but instead to rejoice because our names are written in Heaven. Don’t allow satan to keep you from doing God’s work. he’ll keep trying, but you fight with your armor according to Eph. 6, take the Sword of the Spirit (which is the WORD OF GOD – your BIBLE) and cut him with it. We KNOW the end of the story, he IS a defeated foe already, and he knows his time is short. Speak Jesus’ blood against him and his demons, and they WILL FLEE.

      Several months ago, I found a great radio station that plays nothing but Christian music 24/7. I leave it on all day, every day, whether I’m home or gone. To me, it’s like flooding my home with a constant stream of the Spirit of God, and it definitely brings peace to my home.

      I pray that God’s peace will flood your life my friend.

        Thanks for the reply, was led to open the Book of Ezekiel and instructed to consume the “scroll” (Bible).

        About authority. I laughed because you’ve confirmed what was preached in church two weeks ago regarding taking back our authority and wielding it. Very applicable to me.

        Hidden sin. Yes, I have one that I’ve battled with, thought I was done with it but backslid into it after some upheaval. It is a constant source of anguish but I haven’t given up on overcoming it.

        Ephesians 6. Yes, my state of mind needs work and I do need to don the helmet of salvation all the time.

        I was prophesied over by a man of God but he’s not the last one to do so and they all say the same thing but when you look at the state of my life, its’ laughable.

    Maybe I have stumbled on the right blog. I hope . I dreamed I was in labour although I did not look pregnant , the nurses where telling me that I was practically 10cm although they had not checked. Then I was being rained on running to the house I grew up. Next night , last I then dreamt my mother was pregnant but people that where gathered there it was more like a funeral.
    I usually have about 3 dreams a night that i remember.I jsut want to know if anyone has an idea what these particular dreams could mean because then last night as well I dreamt I was at my church and a leader there made me remove my clothes and I was naked from the bottom down and everyone was laughing. I feel I am under some attack but I do not know which way to pray.

    What do these dreams mean somebody. I do not want my destiny hijacked while I am in ignorance or tribulation to come my way while I relax. I do not know the source of my dreams anymore. I am a born again christian and I have prayed over and over again against demonic induced dreams but I keep dreaming having sex etc I have prayed against spirit husbands and I know sin is the entry point . Now I do not know what sin it is because I have repented and repented. What could be the cause of such dreams.

    there time when dreaming that am walking down the street whistling and its dark and everyone runs and closes there door as i get near them than i get to the end of the road and stand in the middle of the street and a sand storm comes my way and am dancing in it then a girl that i know shows up and what every has me releases me our there times when i dream of dead people that have past away and they talk to me like they tell me long time no see then they hug me and all around them are there dead friends just staring at me smiling or they tell me to watch my back cause pretty soon am going to end up hurting some one

    at times i dream that am walking in a old broken down house and then i start hearing satan voice talking to me and gives me a tour of the house and then we get to 2 bath tube and in both of them there is a naked women in it one has snakes and the other has scorpions in it then he tells me to pick one but i never do cause i away wake up or there times when i dream that am cutting my eyes out in front of the mirror but i can still see and then i eat them i know that sounds weird but its true a dont know if to consider these as satanic dream or if its just me

    I am getting really fed up of satan putting bad evil thoughts into my head and being attacked by demonic cats and dogs. I keep asking God to make satan go away, asking him to protect my mind. it is such a battlefield.

    I had a satanic cat visiting me every couple nights, I would hear purring that would reverberate throughout the room.. I finally stopped getting attacked at night when I forgave people that offended me and when I did that I heard running and I heard my door shake and they never came back.. God will allow the forces of Hell to come upon you.. the tormenters if you dont forgive others,, remember God forgives us if we forgive.. and the tormenters will leave.. Im not in ministry,, i was just attacked non stop until I forgave.. that about wraps it up…

    I have just had one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. I was visited by a demon, but it felt stronger than that. It feels really weird, but it felt that he was trying to take my soul. I am babysitting my nephew and I actually felt I had broken from the nightmare because I heard him go downstairs. I remember picking up my phone and calling to him. I started chanting and screaming in my mind for Satan to get away from me and then I was back in bed but I couldn’t move because HE was sitting on the covers and I was pinned to the bed. I think he was trying to make me give my soul to him for release of my terror. I was so disturbed I awoke picked up my nephew from his bed and put him in my own bed praying profusely. Then I looked over to were my phone was and it had moved to the place I left it whilst I was in the dream but thought I was awake. I still don’t know if I was awake or within the dream and that also scared me. If I was in the dream, how did the phone move and who or what did I hear going down the stairs? I immediately searched for guidance on the internet on my phone to see if anyone else had experienced it. If I had any doubts god existed it was extinguished tonight, I did not realise I was a threat to Satan, but evidently I am.

      Dearest Meya, bless you. We get a lot of similar accounts from people who live all over the world. So, while we do not take what you are saying lightly’ we will say these are dreams. They are not real. Perhaps, the purpose is to produce fear. What is fear. It is the opposite of faith and faith people do not recognize it. Reread what you have written and change your words to reflect your outcome. In other words, you will find victory and comfort in saying what the word of God says about satan. He is a defeated foe. He is under our feet. Yes, you may be a threat to Satan. You see…any believer willing to obey God and say what God says is a threat…but God is greater than the devil! We said: “GOD IS GREATER THAN THE DEVIL!” You may want to begin to say that a lot and EVEN in your dreams!

      P.S. The devil does not control the dream…YOU DO!! Please remember that. Get in the Word. Blessings & Love

    WOW Meya…I know how that feels, to have nightmares like that. I have had a few like that myself years ago. I Remember how terrified and emotionally disturbed I was when I relaized that I was really awake. In both incidents, I remember demanding, whatever or whoever it was trying to scare me, to leave in the name of Jesus! Instantly it was gone. I was unable to move in these dreams and felt like I was alone, without God, but once I was awake and walking around, I realized that what I said was part of God’s armor that He has given to us. I am so glad that your doubts about God have diminished, I dont know why some have these disturbing dreams, but for me, it helped me relize who my God is and just how powerful He is. He is awesome and He is always with us…remember this…and if you ever experience this again, dont be afraid, look up the Full Armor of God and see what He has given us to defend aginst any kind of demon attacks. I am not saying that this is what happened to you, but if you feel that uncomfortable about it, knowing about The Full Armor of God is one complete weapon you can completly depend on!!!     I don’t really know how to relate my dream expieriences in words over the last three years. My dreams are infrequent, but demonic for sure. Let’s just keep it simpley by including the highlights:
    Dream1: I saw myself dead in the dream. I stumbled upon an active seance going on near the classrooms where I study. I was walking home and a big scary man followed. A crowd was forming behind me and I was cornered. He asked me: ‘where is the strength of your God?’ I called out to God but nothing happened. This man the hurt and molested me – I woke up.
    Dream 2: I am in a house. The atmpsphere is very tense. A man pretending to be my father tried to shove me into the chest of timelessness. I fight back. A girl in black is standing in the passage as I try to leave the house. ‘I have one thing to say to you : ******’ I don’t know any latin but the meaning of the word is curse you to death. I walk past her. Outside are seven black half human ‘swinetaur’ pigs. I try to hit one with a stick and it doesnmt work. I can’t pray. But suddenly behind me christians are praying, driving the pigs back. The girl in black collapses outside the house. In the dream I motion to someone to lay hands on me so I can pray. I can at.least mumble Jesus now. The dream finishes as I bend over the girl and say: I have one thing to say to you : *****. It took me two years to find out what the word meant.
    Dream 3: I get locked in a room with the same girl again. She’s more dark brown in hair colour than black now. She speaks an unknown tongue and starts to attack my belief in God. I answer her from the word. I am winning but she is getting extremely angry. She shouts DIE and the room fills up with fiery arrows.I raise my hand: ‘in the name of Jesus you cannot harm me!’ All the little arrows fall to the ground.
    Dream 4: I escape having a ritual peformed in the dream on me. It involves water and fiery coals at the end of a stick being put in the mouth and some other places. In the dream I knew that this was what she wanted/needed to do. I ran a lot but they didn’t get near me.
    Dream 5: once again people are actively praying in the dream. I need to give her a message but I will be in danger. I go. An old woman is running drom me but I catch up. She turns around and has one blue, one red eye and they alternate all the time. I give her the message. God’s message to her is that it is never too late for repentance. But her people are catching up and I run for my life until I reach safety with the praying believers again
    Dream 6: I am in a blue house. I am skipping a book’s woth of detail thus far. This dream comes down to me in the dream seeing from the shadow of a lamp an eye forming on the wall. I knew it was evil and I started praying in the dream as soon as I saw it and I was still praying as I woke up. I see a malayan women and a little boy and girl staring at me in my room.
    Dream 7: I will leave the details ou here but by now strange things around me start happening
    I ask God to take this whole dream package away. I have had enough enough enough. I feel something lift off me and I haven’t had suc dreams since. +- 6 months now. But my strength is drained, and my relationship with God is not as strong anymore. I am tired tired tired. I am not even making mention of things that go wrong in the real world. I struggle to make friends. I have never even had a boyfriend and I’m 25. My mother had breast cancer and it spread now to being metastatic breas ca. My dad has trouble at work an the list continues. What should I do and what does all of this mean? I need prayer and help.

      Wow, I know this is a long time for a response – I found this site because I too am wondering how Satan attacks us in our dreams – even if believing that he could – the experiences people have shared on this sight is overwhelming evidence that Satan does attempt to attack us – there must be a spiritual realm whereby demonic host operate and they have access to us. The one dream you mentionned about running back to the circle of believers seems to be a clue. I am wondering if are you part of a church that actively spends time praying over one another and where they lay hands upon you. Again, through out this site the constant reference to saying, “plead the blood of Jesus” over everything in your life – physically and spiritually seems to also be a remedy. I know this is a year from your posting, I hope and pray things are getting better for you and the harrowing dreams have diminished since then. I haven’t read further posts to see if anyone has responded to you – I hope someone has – I believe Peacefulone has – but I felt more needed to be said – do pursue a praying and open armed body of believers who truly are concerned with your spiritual well being – talk to a pastor – if he/she is open to these types of subject matter then continue to fellowship with that church. I pray the dreams have stopped and that your are encountering the true Power of Christ in your life.

    Wow. glad I found this, now I feel LESS crazy telling my story.

    So about a month ago I had a nightmare where Satan’s demons were tormenting me and consuming me and overwhelming me with such an intense state of fear. I can’t remember much of the dream except for I KNOW that it was Satan’s demons and I KNOW they were trying to deceive me and lie to me and I KNOW that they were letting me know they had a strong grip on every foothold they had into my life. I woke up and what I felt was like screaming, as actually me waking up in an exhausted/scared breath saying Jesus’ name. In my head I felt like I woke up screaming out to Jesus but in reality it was a choking whisper. When I awoke I had realized that Satan’s demons had visited me in my dream and I felt their presence write there in my bed room…surrounding me..tormenting me. I froze in fear. I could barely breath, I was too scared to think, I was so consumed with fear I couldn’t even pray. I sat there in darkness with Satan’s evildoers surrounding me and they seemed to have complete control over me. The next night I was so scared to go to bed, in fear that they would visit me again.

    Then again last night I had another dream. This time Satan or one of his demons took the form of an animal and started talking about taking me with him and then I watched as demons came up from the ground and started pulling down souls.

    These dreams are VERY real and VERY scary. I wake up trembling.

    I have tried to cast away demons, but I am not so sure my faith has been very strong lately and I know my conviction isn’t forceful enough when I am trying to cast them away from me. Some verses on casting demons from your presence with Gods word, verses on praying with authority and conviction, some verses in fear, and some verses reminding believers in Christ just how much power God has over Satan and all his demons would be really helpful. I really need some scripture that I can pray outloud when I am under these attacks from Satan, when they visit me in my room at night and some scripture to plead the blood of Jesus so that I may protect myself. If anyone can help with these things I will be forever grateful.

    Also, I did get baptized when I was younger, but how can the Holy Spirit be with me at times when Satan has complete control over my mind and consumes me with fear? The Holy Spirit doesn’t know fear…… I know the Holy Spirit has been asleep in me for a while, but the Holy Spirit HAS to be active in me to some degree because I still feel conviction.

    I am so confused. These dreams are almost like visions of spiritual warfare and they have only been happening recently. Isn’t there scripture that says something like “..there are warnings before destruction” ? SCARY.

      psalms 91:11 read this The Lord will command a hedge of angels to watch over and protect you, Mark 11:24 whatever is it that you pray believe that you will receive it and you SHALL have it. Pray scripture to the Lord and with all your might believe that God has you as He has saith in His word. Satan does not want you to go to God because of who you are in God it threatens him. You are a blessed and highly favored child of God and He loves you , God gave us a spirit of faith not fear, Satan has already been defeated when Christ died for you on the cross that is when we were all set free. The Holy Ghost inside of you may be asleep, you can pray for a renewal from God psalms 51:10 renew in me a steadfast spirit within me READ THIS and know that you are the property of the living God so have confidence in Him , pray to Him to give you His confidence, remember Matt 18:18 whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven, bind Satan in the name of Jesus you can.     This week I started to pay my tithes! For years I had ignored the call to do so. Anyway my church is on 40 days fast. We have completed 2 weeks 2 to go but I have not done all the days but have joined the church for evening prayer meetings. Last night I had a most terrible dream – I dreamt that someone had put a pillow over my head for a moment I could not breathe and someone (devil) was about to chop off my head off!!!! I woke up afraid! absolutely startled – not able to go back to sleep. I waited a while then prayed. I slept the remaining maybe 2 hours before it was time to get up for work!!

    Have any of you got any ideas about what this is about? I felt the evil around my bed just waiting for me to get back to sleep…. I have had attacks in my sleep before but not like this!! it was very scarily. Tonight I was minded to pray at 12midnight for a change! I was minded to seek help for a change on the internet – glad I did – found this site! I have also noted that people are praying around their beds – I will certainly be doing that!! Any ideas welcome!….

      Hey Vera, wow! The devil sure is trying hard to distract you. Remember this: If he can get you in fear…you’re out of faith!

      A friend told me to do this: Play praise music in my bedroom one hour before bedtime…while I’m in there…then I plead the Blood of Jesus over myself and my family and drew a Blood line around my bed…it stopped….however when I have a dream going the wrong way…I wake up call the devil a liar and remind him about the Blood. I usually sleep extremely at peace! Most always unless I’m up thinking…

    concerning all these dreams what i cannot understand is how can a believer who is actively praying against such things continue to have them? My situation is such that i am actively resisting in the dream and successfuly too. Resisting when i am awake, but still the dreams persist. They can stop for a while then they come back. I have examined my life to see any legal ground and repented …etc Any thoughts?

      Hey Melody! You pose one of the most interesting set of questions we’ve seen since the article appeared. In the bible God tells us to “cast our cares on Him..” because He cares for us…and we’re not so sure how much you are actively praying against it…or what you mean by that…so it’s hard to address it….

      I can only speak for myself personally…once I reached a point where I stood down the satanic attack in my dream…(what happened was I was being chased by a pit bull…and it was a fear thing…so I had to stand the pit pull down in the dream saying: “The Blood of Jesus” over and over…then the pit bull turned the other way just as it was leaping mid air at me…

      So…after that I no longer was a “helpless” victim in a dream…I was empowered…they came fewer and fewer…I remember who I am when I go to sleep…I plead the Blood of Jesus…then I rest soundly KNOWING I am protected! Hope this helps…

        it does. however something interesting happened last night. i have been asking God this question why if i am seeking God this is continuing. I am married and unfortunately my husband is a compromising believer and last night as i was praying i realised that a spouse can also be a doorway. I am open to other thoughts to see if i am not getting off track here. But it seems to me a lot of dream attacks i have had , i am victorious but then there are strange dreams i have had which involve him like he is leading me astray. So what do you think, is it possible for a spouse to affect my dream life..?

    Ok so I’m a little freaked out and I’ve been searching the internet to try and help with my boyfriend’s dream problem. He had a dream that he was sleeping in his room and a girl came in and stood over his bed while he was sleeping and then she appeared on top of him and bit down onto his under arm (his armpit) and when he woke up and went to go take a shower his armpit was bleeding and he had a bite mark where she had bit him. I have terrifying nightmares when I stay over at his house and they always wake me from my sleep. Does anyone know what this means or what I should do? He’s also had a past of bad spiritual experiences when he was a kid. He doesn’t believe in god and he isn’t religious at all either.

    Can demons follow through genrations? I ask this due to the fact my uncle played with a weegie board with some friends. The next day my dad was sitting in the living room of my grandma’s house when he saw his grandmother in front of the fire place (she had been dead for years) and she said “bewarned when it rains inside” then she disappeared. He felt a single drop of water on his head then a pair of glowing hands came out of the fire place toward his brother. My dad got in between the hands and my uncle and was thrown 10 feet back. My grandmother (my da’s mom who is a wicca high priestess) felt something was wrong and went home to find my dad in sitting on his bed in shock. She went to take him to the hospital but when he got to the car he saw three more in the car and refuse to get in. Three days he saw it again and said “In the name of Jesus Christ be gone”. And the thing left. He was not saved at the time and still thanks God that He did not allow the demon to harm him or his brother.
    Sense then my grandmother has nothing to do with a weegie board but she still does everything else including tara cards. She prays with stones and asks the spirits to watch my brother and I. Unfortunatly they do. I and my brother have had horrible dreams revolving around death and have seen unhuman creatures. I have woken up with blood on me, and at other times scratches on my arms. We pray and they will go away for a while but they always return. What can we do to make them go away?

      Definitley demons can move generationally. Thats why the bible talks about generational curses being visited on the children to the fourth generations

        You can break the Generational curses by going to prayer (find a prayer partner to do this with you) begain by asking forgiveness for that sin in your family, renounce and reject those things that have been prayed over you by your grandmother, in the name of Jesus bind those prayers and break those ties (blood lines). Allow the Holy Spirt to guide you through this(He will lead you into all truth). If your Grandmother is still alive send her on going prayers back to her but as a prayer of salvation. She will soon see that her powers are not of a Holy, Loving, kind God.

    my girlfriend has been having demonic dreams ever since she was little, more recently theyve gotten a little worse, more vivid and one time shes left the dream with a mark, most dreams involve dead religious figures or the room and under the bed glowing red. even more recently she talked to me in her sleep, saying rhymes. specifically she said in english her native language “burning 6’s in a row make the lane to satans throne follow the road their is no toll just give the devil your soul” and breathing hard and when exhaling she would string together 6’s. 7 to be exact in on breath out. and when i shake her a little to try and wake her, she makes unsettling noises and growls. and speaks “if you play with fire you’ll end up burned” and “if you knew what i was u’d leave me alone” this is all very terrifying to me ive just never heard anything like this ever

    I just had a dream where I thought Satan was my father, it was very disheartening considering the previous day I volunteered at a children’s hospital, it seems like every time I do something righteous lucifer in turn attacks my subconscious mind.

    I KNOW THIS SEEMS LIKE A LONG COMMENT BUT PLEASE READ IT MAY BE JUST WHAT YOU NEED TO HEAR!
    wow most of these stories are interesting and very encouraging. I am a 38 year old female who was raised int the church all my life. my mother has been christian for almost 30 years and i was too though i have backsliden many times. however i know the truth and i know the word of God better than most christians. I have, for the most part of my adult life, been attacked by demons in my dreams. I have been held down, paralyzed, bitten, scratched and it is very frightening when you feel helpless. And of course when i finally utter out the name of JESUS it attacks stop instantly. I have on a number of occassions seen the demon that was attacking me and today i experienced something that i have never experienced before. I guess i was half asleep and half awake and suddenly i was paralyzed yet my eyes were open and i realized i was fully awake at this time. I saw this tall figure in a hooded robe with what seemed like a white/greyish face walk across my room toward the foot of my bed and disappear. This was most alarming because i know i was not asleep! I got out the words JESUS and i got up and sat pondering what just happened. Now i am a very spiritual woman and i have done tons of research on demons, aliens, ghost, conspiracy theories to the point where it was an obsession which then makes it a form of idolerty. But knowing too much is sometimes a disadvantage cause it makes you feel you know better about how to handle these demons when that is just a trick to open your spirit up to their attacks. These demons are crafty, clever and very very evil and they play on your curiosity to gain entry into your spirit and torment you. Just a couple of days ago i too watched Case 39 and even though the movie wasent visually scarey the concept and spirt behind the moveie was very very frightening. Be careful about what you research and open yourself up to out of curiosity it can have very very damaging consequences. Stay prayed up and remember the most high YAWH gives us the power to tread on sepents so put on the whole armor of GOD and get ready because this world is going to get worse. Please in case you did not know….that we ARE prayer warriors…people who pray on mountain tops, on freeways, through the night when others sleep, early in the mornings we trek out to prayer when others sleep year round, and we ignore the weather, we pray in the spirit, we travel and pray and fast frequently….not for any credit or for man’s approval, staying before God, in the Word and most of all obedient…WITHOUT FEAR…IN FAITH!!!!

      Fear cannot live where FAITH resides!!!!!

    I HAVE A FRIEND, THAT HAS SHARED WITH ME THESE DREAMS HE HAS JUST STARTED TO HAVE A FEW WEEKS AGO.

    IN ANSWERING THE DOOR FOR A DELIVERY, THE DELIVERY PERSON ONCE INSIDE HIS HOME, TURNS INTO A DEMON WOMAN.
    THEY PHYSICALLY, VOLENTLY FIGHT. THE DEMON WOMAN IS NOT HURT BY ANY OF THE BLOWS GIVEN TO HER BY HIM, AS SHE JUST SMILES AT HIM.
    SHE IS ABLE TO ESCAPE HIS HOLD EACH AND EVERY TIME, BUT WHEN THE FIGHT GETS TO THE ONE OR THE OTHER MUST DIE, HE IS ABLE TO GET HER OUT OF THE HOUSE AND THROW HER OUT.

    BUT HE WAKES, IN TERROR, AND FOR DAYS IS UNABLE TO SHAKE THE FEELING OF THE EVIL EXPERIENCED.

    I SO WANT TO HELP HIM, BUT SO FAR WHAT I TOLD HIM TO TRY HE HAS , AND NONE HAVE HELPED.
    PRAYER, READING SCRIPTURE, REBUKING IN THE NAME OF CHRIST ETC…

    PLEASE HELP ME HELP HIM

      Our response is spiritual in nature.

      We get so many letters like yours and even I have seen my dreams go to another level as I began to dig in more spiritually seeking an answer to things that were happening in my life. I will say this and it may prove very helpful. It is something that I have NEVER said before as it is new information to me. Tell your friend to ASK GOD for the interpretation in prayer. No one else can give it to him. BUT ALSO…he “may” be seeing” into the spirit realm…and it’s time…to get mad and start facing the enemy down….EVEN in his dream.

      VERY IMPORTANT: Instead of being in terror…tell him to go to bed with PRAISE AND WORSHIP…music playing in his ears…telll him NOT to be afraid…to channel his fear to faith…his fear to anger realizing we as believers face a VERY REAL enemy. Hope this helps…Blessings & Love

    I always thought I was the only person who had recurring weird dreams.
    Many times I saw the devil in my dreams. I had stabbed him with a knife, chased him away in Jesus’ name.. During face to face encounters, I’d win, but there were times that I lost when I chose to escape cos I couldn’t see him, and many of them would be running after me. Other times I’d be very sleepy, I’d just let anything happen knowing it’s just a dream, sometimes I’d say even if I died in my dream, I’ll go to heaven anyway.
    A counselor in church prayed for me 2 wks ago. She confirmed I am a “dreamer” & indeed being attacked. I also had some “wet” dreams though I don’t engage in sex. I’ve learned to rebuke that kind of dream after I got up from bed, saying I don’t like it & it’s not from the Lord. So far, my sleep has been better lately. Still having confusing dreams sometimes but I know what to do already.

    im so glad to come across this site, well to cut the long story short, my life simply wasnt the kind of life a christian would take pride in and i didnt know the last time i had set foot in church up until 2weeks ago when i decided to go to church. the pastor’s sermon touched me and that day he encouraged everyone to make it a habbit to pray btwn 2am and 3am emphasizing the reason being that satanists use that time to do their ungodly demonic things, so being eager to turn over a new leaf my first huge step was to learn how to pray, that night i set my alarm at 2am and i woke up and prayed. i was so proud of myself and was telling everyone close to me abt the changes i could already feel in my new life, the following day i looked forward to praying at 2am again but before the alarm went off i dnt knw what happened in my sleep, the next thing i literally lept out of bed and i saw myself heading for the door screaming ” here he is, here he is”, this wasnt a dream it was actually happening, my B/f tried pulling me back into the bedroom and i was now gasping for air, i felt like i was dying, my heart was beating so fast and i felt like i was now taking in the last breath of life, i was shacking and full of tears, my B/f cldnt understand what was going on, after that i prayed to God and managed to fall asleep arnd 4am, i didnt stop going to church went to church again last week and i soon forgot about my near death experience it was the night mare that i had yesterday that made me look up bad dreams on the internet. yesterday i dreamt of two girls …i have never seen them before, we were all kneeling on my bed and there were 2 clay pots infront of us, one of the girls told us that something had happened to her pot and needed us to perform a rirtual to bring it back, i was now afraid and i guese she could sense my fear because she said i should not worry about whatever we do at night because all that will be errased from our memories when we wake up, my fear grew a part of me told me to just do what they wanted and get it over and done with, after all she only wanted her pot back, funny i didnt even question what was with the pots that made them so special we started chanting , the picture of the movements we were doing is still vivid in my mind, my eyes were closed and i could feel a shadow moving past me as we chanted there was something evil about this shodow and i knew something wrong was going on, that was when sumthang triggered me back into my senses and i opened my eyes and started calling upon God, but the name God wouldnt come out of my mouth, i sounded like a baby trying to say sumthang, the word God came out as Goth nomater how i tried, i just couldnt, i dnt know how but i eventually woke up screaming and scaring my B/f out of is skin again, i prayed to God to be with me but i could still feel like there was something in the room, i could feel my hair tightening like something was wrong, now im confused and scared, i decide to change my life for the better but all i seem to be getting are these bad scary nights, please help me, i love God with all my heart, and soul. and i dont want to be part of satan.

      Dear Freind I thank you for your concern for me but I was not the person who sought help, I am an exorcist and a practicing witch who hunts the deamons and uplifts all who will dare into the light of Grace. your citations reflecting christian values are not informed and , though you may have good intentions dear freind, I suggest you research history and discover as I did that Jesus is a dericvation of an earlier Messiah myth that worked very well for the Egyptians. Recent archaological evidence in Egypt CONFIRMS that Psalm 124 attributed to Solomon is actually the Hymnn of Aten and it was stolen from Heiroglyphic monuments by those clever deceivers who crafted the bible and the torah before it…
      …may you be blessed and well in all you endeaveor to do…but beware please..that the word Christ means ‘the Cursed One’…literally…and christians have been played as the biggest of all fools….

    hi there i have recently accepted Jesus as my Lord and saviour having been in the occultin the past. i seem to all of a sudden been getting very vivid spooky dreams like one last night where i saw Jesus dead on the cross with 666 on his forehead and surrounded by occult symbols, when i woke from this i saw a dark shadowy figure walking across my room this i know to be a demon from past experience, please tell me what pleading the blood of Jesus is? as i fear for my life and my sanity right now and am terrified of going to bed.

      Hi Samuel…pleading the Blood of Jesus gives believers PROTECTION. Demons cannot cross the blood barrier. Look on the right side of the page and visit our site: THE BLOOD OF JESUS!         MORE ON THE BLOOD OF JESUS…

        We know that Jesus shed his Blood on the cross at Calvary and carried our sins so that we would not be judged for them…that is believers who make Jesus The Lord and Savior of their lives, who confess it and who believe that Jesus got on the cross, took our sins, died and rose again after 3 days. Just knowing that gives us faith in his Blood. God honors what Jesus did. He honors it so much that when we plead the Blood of Jesus in faith…the power of heaven is released immediately to back us in our prayer requests. I wish that on my own I could have explained this but God sent help from a mighty man of God. Bless the Lord!

    This is a beautiful place and I am so glad I stumbled upon it. I am a 43 yr old female and all my life has been a struggle against the enemy. I was saved as a small child and have always had a close, not perfect, walk with God. I’m from the deep South and my family is rooted in the occult, black magic, white magic, and “root work”. As a child I learned this and thought it was ok but as I got older and wiser I realized this family tradition was wrong in the eyes of God.

    My family has been riddled with torture and we fall under several generational curses. These include blindness, early death, cancer, heart problems, mental illness, incest, poverty, and all manner of awful, debilitating problems.

    Since I have learned the truth about satan, I have become a major target of his attack and destruction. I have had night terrors as a child and they were terrifying. The old folk use to call it, “a witch riding you” but I knew what it was. as a teen i actually saw the “dark man” or shadow of death in my room and my mother saw him fleeing from my room. I know I am a threat to the enemy because i am the only one in my large family who prays and trusts God.

    I have learned to plead the blood of Jesus over my life and I now teach it to my people. I am still under attack but I know that Jesus has my back. I will never give up and I will never give out as long as our loving Father gives me strength. I still have those dream attacks and have even been demonically raped in several “dreams” but I fight with everything in me and will never give up. Thanks you guys for this great blog and May the peace of God be with us all.

      Dearest Bonnie, that was a powerful note that you wrote. You’re right…God says He IS your rear guard! In other words: He’s GOT your back! Now about these serious dream attacks…try this:

      1. Before bed at least three hours play praise music in your room! YOU LISTEN AND PRAISE one hour before…going to bed. I always plead the Blood and if a nightmare occurs and I am consciously aware of it…I yell out not too loud…but I say…Nope Satan…I plead the Blood of Jesus so back off…I’m not playing with you and I do not allow it! I contriol all my dreams includsing waking up to fix them so I win! I have been praying in the spirit for long hours; I’m positive that helps!

    I’m glad I found this page, and have read through some of the interesting dreams here.
    I never used to take much account into dreams, but as of much recent a lot of the dreams I have are supernatural/spiritual related, and a lot of times they have spiritual meaning.

    I still live at home with my parents, my mom is a believer, but my dad is not. And I believe my dad has helped bring in some demonic spirits. I have heard them in the house before, and once there was physical contact.
    But mostly, it’s through dreams.

    I fell asleep on our living room sofa one day, and my mom has a roll top desk and a director’s chair by it. In this dream, I was standing and looking at the desk, and I rested my hand on the chair, and all of the sudden the chair toppled over, and then a few seconds later shot across the room.

    Then the next thing that happened was their was like a levitating teddy bear, and his eyes turned yellow. He began choking me, and I began rebuking him, and saying things like “In the name of Jesus, leave me alone!” and “I’m covered by the blood of Jesus”. At one point I was saying about the Holy Spirit and I made a mistake, and said Holy Bearit …. the laughter and mocking from around me was so intense, it’s hard to describe in words… it was so great… At some point shortly after I woke up, and called for mom.

    I asked God to give me peace, and almost immediately I felt his love surround me, and I then understood what the dream symbolized. I truly believe not enough people are aware of Spiritual Warfare, and I think this dream was supposed to show me that Spiritual Warfare REALLY isn’t something we fight physically, but mentally and emotionally. And I believe the dream field is a and can be a field for battle.

    Ephesians 6:12 became so much more real to me after this dream – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

    My most recent dream was about 2 days ago… I dreamt I had stepped outside, and the sky wasn’t blue, but black, black and had large amounts of very red fire in it.
    And there was a young man, standing there, and he was walking towards me. He looked very cruel/mean, and he had this amused look on his face, but in a mean way.

    I knew he was a demon and/or Satan. But I feel more strongly that it was Satan.

    Shortly after I woke up, and I think I was crying and/or hyperventilating. It was a very vivid and scary dream.

    Again, I asked God for peace and for wisdom to understand this dream.
    I believe this dream was due to because I had fallen back into some of my old problems. I had a bad addiction before hand, that I was delivered from by God, and He made me stronger, but I had fallen back into the temptation. I believe this dream was a resemblance of allowing that crack for Satan, and that I needed to keep that sealed off from him, and not to allow it to reopen again.

    There is another dream I had, this is the oldest one. My father is an alcoholic, and he has some other addiction problems. Some will disagree or argue with me on this, but I do believe my father is possessed or at the very least heavily oppressed.

    I had a dream one night, that my father was in the garage (where he started doing his drinking), and I was by the garage door. Their was a vacuum salesmen or someone out side, and I had opened the door a crack, and saw a black form by the door. I may have seen some eyes, I’m not 100% sure on that.

    And I said something, possibly “I know who you are”, and he replied in a very deep voice “You don’t know me/know who I am”, and it was almost in a taunting voice.

    I started to rebuke the demon, and said “In the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to leave me alone.” and things similar.

    I woke up at that point, and I had been saying it very loudly before I awoke.
    That was my first experience in a battle, it made me nervous, but I knew that God would protect me and be with me all the way.

    I have heard hisses in my ear, things falling and no evidence of such, and once when I was taking a shower I felt a “hand” press hard in between my shoulders.

    The other thing that was definitely a proving point for me on the possession factor, is my brother was in the living room, and my dad was standing in front of the French doors leading to the backyard, and where you would normally see 1 shadow, my brother saw 3, all leading back to my father.

    Before I went to sleep last night I prayed the blood of Jesus would wash over everything in our home, and cleanse it. I had a dream where I was with 2 other people, and we were shot several times, and killed. I dreamed Satan rose me up from the blood I was laying in, and healed my wounds. I was then given a prayer, and I spoke to my dead friends saying repeat after me, and serve Satan, or remain dead. I spoke the prayer, and one friend repeated it. The other would have no part of it. I have just recently came back to the Lord. For the last 7 years I was involved in a witchcraft/satanic type of lifestyle. I did not think Satan was able to break through the blood of Jesus.

    The devil had a strong hold on my life for a long time. Since becoming a christian and living through Jesus Christ, satan has attacked me four different times in my dreams. This afternoon marked the fourth.
    The first three were all the same scenerio. I am in my house, it is dark and I cannot find any light. I am scared, but then all of the sudden someone very dear to me appears and I feel safe and comforted.
    The first one I had my Mother appeared to me, but then she began choking me, trying to kill me.I creid out to God and I then woke up.
    The second time I am once again in my house, my friend kevin shows up, but then he turned on me and begn to beat be.By this time I know I am having a satanic dream and recognize it. Then my someone appeared in my hallway, I said, “who are you”?, she replied, “alexis”, but i had figured out what Satan was doing by now. I replied back with “No you are not”!. She laughed and walked into my room. I called God to save me and I woke up.
    The third time was the worst by far. Once again, satan tried to deceive me with a close friend but I knew right away what was going on. The dream switched and all of a sudden I am “awake” in the hotel room I was sleeping in. I could see satan’s face and he was right above. I told him to go back to hell and I cried out to God to save me. He began choking me, I turned over to my Mother who was sleeping with me to help me but I couldnt breathe enough to have my words come out.
    next thing I knew I woke up, gasping for air.

    Today’s was different than the rest, but I still knew in my dream it was a satanic dream. Today was weird, in my dream i was “awake” in my dream, I knew an evil entinty was with me but my body was lifeless, I was unable to move. The entity started throwing me back in forth all over my bed, dragging me to the floor. I tried crying out to God but at this time I couln’t speak. Then the dream switched, I was able to open my eyes and when I did I was in a pure red room. I was able to speak, i started singing to jesus but nothing happened. So I creid out to God to rescue me and I instantly woke up.

    Each time I’ve had the dream they have all been very similar, hense with the deception of my loved ones. But each time satan figures out a way to twist them to my dissadvantage.

    Figuring since i have had four already since I have become a christian I would not be suprised if I have another. Thankfuly the holy spirit gives me the wisdom to recognize right away what is going on.
    I’m going to begin praying for the blood of Jesus to surround me, I have faith it will work.

    I need deliverence. I am infested with evil spirits myself and my children. Our progress is taking a snail pace. Once we start praying in the evening, we hear things like bumping against the walls, sometimes knocking on the windows.
