Christmas Day Warfare! by E. Davenport December 25, 2011

Can we talk?   Tomorrow, I’ll make a journey to vindicate myself.  It  is Christmas Day; what better day to go!   I have a friend that is going through.    Too often, we forget about people.  Certainly I’ve done my share in that arena and have had to repent one time too many.  You see, if we can lend a word of encouragement, help people build their faith in an area…wage warfare with someone; why wouldn’t we if we know how.  We trust God and we cannot shrink from our responsibilities!   So, I’ll be there when the bell rings and the devil…better stay outta my way!   I know that!!

 

 

I KNOW WHAT GOD SAID!!!!

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV)

• Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21 NKJV)
• …the battle is the LORD’s… (1 Samuel 17:47 KJV)
• “…the enemy… is the devil…” (Matthew 13:37-39 KJV)
• “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 NKJV)
• “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” (Matthew 12:30 NKJV)
• “…what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” (Luke 14:31-33 NKJV)
• This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, having faith and a good conscience… (1 Timothy 1:18-19 NKJV)
• You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. (2 Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV)
